Cogapp is a digital media agency. Founded in 1985, we operate nationally and internationally from an office in Brighton and an outpost in New York.
We process personal data from our website in order to work with potential clients, potential employees and for general enquiries.

Filling in forms
Our website collects personal data in two ways:
- the 'Contact Us' form
- job application forms (these change regularly and can be found via the generic 'Work at Cogapp' page)
The 'Contact Us' form collects your:
- name
- email address
- message
The job application form collects key job-related information. These may change depending on the requirements of the specific role and relevant employment legislation. They are likely to include your:
- name
- email address
- postal address
- telephone number
- UK residence status
- any unexpired criminal convictions
- employment and/or education history
- salary
- referees
- any other details you include in your answers or attached documents
How we transmit and store your data
Your data is processed by our website which transmits it to non-public-facing systems. The data is not retained on the website itself. Secure transmission (SSL, HTTPS), private networks and password protection keep your data safe.
Depending on the nature of your message, your data may be stored digitally on our site, stored in private, third-party managed systems or printed and stored for internal review or archive purposes.
For 'Contact us' form enquiries your data will normally be stored in our contact/customer relationship management system.
Your job application form data will normally be stored in our records management system.
