Matt Chapman

Matt is an Acquia certified developer who brings over a decade of experience to his role at Cogapp for clients including Visual Commentary on Scripture, Yiddish Book Center, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

He’s a full stack developer with experience in languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Go and Python and frameworks such as Drupal, Koa, Symfony, React, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Matt helps maintain the open source Fractal pattern library tool, and has written modules and testing tools for Drupal, and small packages for the Node.js ecosystem. In the past, he’s also delivered talks at Drupalcamp Brighton.

Now in his second stint at Cogapp, Matt previously worked at Inviqa where he helped write technical guidelines, delivered training and talks at regular company conferences, and acted as the technical team lead on multiple projects. He also worked at Clearleft where he was the head of the development team.

Matt lives in Uckfield with his wife and two young children, and in whatever spare time he gets can either be found at the gym or attempting to learn something new.
