Scout Burghardt

Scout Burghardt joined Cogapp in 2019 as a Technical Assistant armed with two years of self-taught programming skills and with the goal to grow her tech skills further.

Today, Scout is involved in all of Cogapp’s projects in her role as QA Lead. She is responsible for the company’s overall testing strategy and feels especially enthusiastic about comprehensive accessibility testing. She also enjoys getting down to business by writing Cypress tests and making sure they get implemented in the early stages of our development process.

Scout is interested in the intersections of technology, politics, and social justice. As a codebar Brighton organiser, she supports people from underrepresented groups on their journey into the world of tech. She loves growing things like plants, relationships, and communities.
